Hello members and friends, FINAL TOUCHES ON ANNUAL LIDS DAHLIA SHOW AHEAD August 30 and 31 - Oakdale, NY Arboretum UPDATES: Major set up day Thursday, August 28 EXHIBITORS SET UP: Friday, August 29 at 12:00pm - Saturday, August 30 at 7:15am SHOW: Saturday, August 30 from 2:00-5:00pm - Sunday, August 31 from 10:00-3:00pm JUDGING: Saturday, August 30 from 11:00am-1:00pm - LUNCH Saturday/Thursday for helpers, exhibitors, and judges. TRANSPORTATION: Top of roadway to carriage house until 5:00pm. Can drive down afterwards. If park closes, can drive down to Carriage House. PARKING: During set up days Thursday and Friday, the Park director will allow us to set up, even though parking fees do apply. Seniors can use their license to get access to free parking using payment meters. VOLUNTEERS: Contact Leslie at 631-682-3072. Rosa 631-499-9907. Text or call availability. SALES: Saturday, August 30 - Bouquet of cut LIDS and Member dahlias. Donations of vases all sizes is welcome, so we can make arrangements and sell them. We encourage all to come and exhibit their Dahlias. Even if you haven’t exhibited before. Jump into this next phase of Dahlia attachment. We have experienced and friendly Dahlia exhibitors and we will help set up your dahlia and exhibit.
