Yes, I'm sorry to say but this is the beginning of the end of the 2025 dahlia season. There is still some cutting down to do, but we will start the BIG DIG tomorrow. Cutting down, separating string, pulling and tying up poles, digging dahlia clumps, cutting stems close to the clump, retie tags around the clumps, washing clumps, trimming hair roots, removing mother tubers, stacking the bread trays. So you see there is plenty of work to go around. Thank you for making the garden one the best we have ever had. Please join us to cap off the end of the season in the Wolkoff Dahlia Garden with a pizza party afterward.
For those who want to gather together again for another holiday party please hand in forms by December 1st. Payments with forms to Leslie or mail-in. Please hand in your membership dues to Leslie or mail to the P.O. Box on the form ASAP. They were due September. Thank you |
